MMarginMate

Terms of use

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms apply to MarginMate, provided by Damast Limited (company number [CRO number]), [registered address] ("we", "us"), and to the business that uses it ("the store", "you") and the people it invites. By using MarginMate you agree to them. Questions: [support@marginmate.ie].

1. What MarginMate does

MarginMate takes the reports your store already has access to (for example from Musgrave's Harmony Centra) and shows them as a weekly list of actions and reports: price fixes, gaps, waste, cost changes, promotions, buying comparisons and cash and carry orders. Optional tools (the Store Connector and the Chrome extension) fetch your reports and fill cash and carry baskets for you.

2. Your account

  • The store owner decides who is invited, and is responsible for removing people who should no longer have access.
  • Keep passwords and connection keys private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used them.
  • You must have the right to access the reports and websites MarginMate uses on your behalf (for example your own Harmony and cash and carry accounts), and to use them in this way.

3. Your data

Your store's data stays yours. You allow us to hold and process it to provide MarginMate to you, as set out in our privacy policy. We won't share one store's figures with another store. You can ask for your data to be deleted when you stop using MarginMate.

4. Please check before you act

  • MarginMate's figures come from the reports you or your suppliers provide, and from automatic matching (for example of cash and carry offers to your products). Reports can be late, incomplete or wrong, and a match can occasionally be wrong. Please check important figures before acting on them.
  • Suggestions such as shelf prices, orders and where to buy are information to help your decisions, not instructions or financial advice. Decisions about your prices, orders and suppliers are yours.
  • When MarginMate fills a cash and carry basket, it never places or pays for the order. You must check the basket and place the order yourself, on the cash and carry's website, under its own terms.

5. Fair use

Don't try to access other stores' information, interfere with the service, copy or resell it, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the terms of the websites it works with.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep MarginMate running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, for example when Musgrave or a cash and carry changes its reports or website. We may improve or change features; we'll tell store owners about significant changes.

7. Fees

[Fees, billing period and how to cancel, once decided.]

8. Liability

[To be settled with a solicitor: typically, a limit on liability to the fees paid in the previous 12 months, and no liability for indirect losses such as lost profit, except where the law doesn't allow liability to be limited.]

9. Ending

You can stop using MarginMate at any time [with notice as agreed]. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken. When it ends, we delete your store's data as described in the privacy policy.

10. Law

These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
